    Third Grade Field Trip
    The third grade enjoyed a field trip to the William Harris Homestead.  They experienced what it was like to live on a farm in the 1800's through demonstrations and lectures.

    Grandparents Day
    On Friday, November 2nd,  LCA students were excited to spend the morning with their grandparents.  Grandparents enjoyed performances, an art show, a book fair, and lunch with their grandchildren.

    The Proud Minded Princess

    The 7th grade performing arts class performed The Proud Minded Princess.  The play was a comedy-spoof of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew”.  It also had a message about Christ and the Church.  It was directed by Mrs. Jenkins.

    Walk of Faith
    LCA students, parents, and teachers gathered together on Friday, October 12 for the Walk of Faith.  They stopped to pray at various stations around the school for the administration, teachers, our country, and missions.  We are thankful for the opportunity to come together for prayer and fellowship.

    Waffle Breakfast
    LCA students enjoyed a waffle breakfast this morning as one of their Walk of Faith incentives. Keep sending out your brochures and praying for our upcoming event! Join us on October 12th to pray for our school and participate in a variety of activities. There will be face painting, inflatables, a rock wall, dunking booth and many more.

    National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist
    Congratulations to Brice Bennett for being a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist.  In February, the majority of these semifinalists will become one of 15,000 finalists. Pictured with principal Becki Walters.

    Fall Retreat
    The fall retreat was a time of growth and fun for students and staff.  Woodlands Camp in Cleveland provided a beautiful setting to hold the retreat.  Everyone enjoyed our speaker Andy Nelson and worship leader Nathan Unger.

    Elementary Chapel
    Elementary students enjoyed listening to Jeff Knight as he shared at chapel today.  The theme for chapel this year is The Names of Jesus.  Each week students will learn about one of the many names of Jesus and its meaning.  This week Mr. Knight spoke about Jesus as Creator of All.
