    RARE SNOW DAY
There were snowball fights, snow angels, and snowflakes everywhere as students and teachers took a break from studying for finals to enjoy the winter wonderland on Friday December 8.  Everyone was grateful for the early release to go home and snuggle with some hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies.  We hope your family took time to savor the moments of the beautiful, but brief winter display.

    PLAYGROUND FINALLY OPEN

WE HAVE EXCITED LOWER SCHOOL STUDENTS (and TEACHERS!)!!
Our playground was reopened Wednesday morning October 4th!  The students were so excited to be able to play on the new equipment, throw footballs in the grassed area, and overall wore themselves out!  Likewise, with the incredible weather, the teachers were enjoying watching the children play while having some “adult time” together.

Thanks so much for all those who participated in the “Fund the Need” part of the Spring Auction last April.  Special thanks go to Doug and Diane Magnus, who matched the total amount, allowing us to build the new playground but also provide funding toward our athletic field that we pray can be started in the not-to-distant future.  Additional funding (and site planning) is needed for that project before we can begin.
