–Tell us about your education journey?
I received my B.S.(Social Science) from Piedmont College and my Master in Education (Secondary Education) from Grand Canyon University.
–How long have you taught/served in Education?
I have been in education for 27 years.
–How many years have you been with your LCA family?
This is my first year teaching at LCA but I have been a part of the basketball program going on my third year.
–What church do you attend and how do you serve?
I attend GOD’S Prophecy Worship Center. I serve as a Youth Pastor and Adult Sunday School Teacher.
–Tell us about your family?
I am married to Married to Jimmy Whelchel, We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
–Tell us something about you we would be surprised to know?
My early life plan was to be a cop and eventually a detective.
-What attracted you to LCA?
The Christian atmosphere and Coaching.
– What is the biggest desire that you hope students will take from your classroom?
To apply Christian principles taught in the classroom and on the court to their everyday lives.
